Visa Europe , European leader in payment technologies, has announced the upcoming launch of two services: Visa Mobile Person-to-Person (P2P Visa Mobile) and Visa Alerts.
The announcement was made by Peter Ayliffe (chief executive of Visa Europe), who said: “The way we make payments is changing, driven by the rapid rise of new technologies and the growing demand by consumers, methods Flexible payment. ”
On the heels of this thought, was presented the new payment system Visa Mobile Person-to-Person allows registered users to transfer cash, safely, to any holder of a Visa card in Europe, directly from their mobile phone, thanks to ‘experience and reliability of computer systems of Visa Europe. The application makes it easy to transfer money to a contact, a phone number or a specific Visa card number, regardless of whether the recipient is registered or not in the service.
Visa Alerts is a notification system instead of using the card. Registered users of a Visa card holders will be notified, in real time, when their card is used to make a purchase or withdraw cash through the payment networks of Visa Europe.
Visa Mobile Person-to-Person Alerts and Visa have been developed in partnership with Visa Europe Monitis . At launch, mobile P2P payments Visa application will be available on Android in the English language, the platform for other mobile operating system and other currencies will be added in the coming months.
