LinkedIn , the social network more popular with professionals around the world in recent days has released updates for two of its most widely used mobile applications, which are the versions Android and iPhone OS.
These are, respectively, versions 2.1 and 4.1 for native LinkedIn app on Android and iPhone OS (not universal, designed for the iPhone) that implement some new features. The first, surely pleasing to many, re-introduces the ability to save in your local phone book contacts inside the network so you can access their credentials, even offline. The second, however, recently introduced a feature improves along with the new graphic restyling, or groups.
With the new update the application prompts the user groups that might interest him, allowing him to quickly join and participate in discussions. Among the new child, point out the possibility to change their profile photo directly from your smartphone, but not to change the profile itself (features coming with the next update).
Paradoxical situation, however, the failure to update and support for BlackBerry users, among the most active users of such social networks. It is missing a version for BlackBerry OS 7 and Web Access in HTML5 does not make their lives easier. We hope that things will change in a few weeks.
