According to some rumors Sony Ericsson will launch in 2012 the successor of ‘ Xperia Neo. Terminal will be a mid-range dual core processor with 1Ghz, 3.7-inch display with 480 × 854, 5 megapixel camera with ability to record HD video at 720p, HDMI output and a 1320 mAh battery fixed. According to rumors it will be always with Android Gingerbread, and then be upgraded later to Ice Cream Sandwich.
If the features were confirmed Sony will position the Pepper, like size, close to the next Xperia Nypon but with fewer features. The Nypon will have a dual core processor with 1 GHz with a 4-inch screen and an 8 megapixel camera. Last but not least, it seems this new smartphone will be released under the Sony Ericsson brand, which we know, Sony will disappear only to be following the acquisition by the Japanese giant’s remaining 50% ownership of Ericsson.
