At CES 2012 in Las Vegas seems to have been revealed, not quite officially, a new terminal Sony Ericsson Android operating system. The smartphone would be presented at CES, but apparently has been made to give greater emphasis to other terminals. It’s called Sony Ericsson and MT27i codenamed Pepper: it seems that the phone is designed as a direct successor to the Xperia Neo V (which, in turn, was the successor to “depleted” smartphone Xperia Neo).
The Sony Ericsson Pepper keeps the touch of Neo and Neo models V, 3.7-inch 854 × 480 resolution, but will mount dual-core processor 1 GHz and features a design that resembles that seen with the Sony Ericsson Nozomi. The Pepper will also have a 5 megapixel camera with the ability to record 720p HD-quality video, LED flash and microphone capable of filtering to exclude noise. Of course, the phone will be Android operating system, probably with Timescape custom user interface, even if everything is still to be confirmed.
