CES 2012: Sony Xperia hands-on Ion


After having quickly presented the first features of the Sony Xperia Ion, the first smartphone from Sony Ericsson without the cooperation, deepen, and thanks to the first hands-on reviews posted online, in particular of PhoneArena. This is yet another smartphone PlayStation certificate, a feature that certainly affect hardcore gamers as casual gamers interested in the toys hobbies, enjoyed on a terminal that is worth it. Aesthetically speaking, the Sony Xperia ion resembles many other terminals of the Xperia brand, although the brushed metal body gives it a particularly elegant. Despite its size, the phone is in fact bigger than their predecessors, the contours of the body and the curved back makes it comfortable to use and hold, giving balance to the whole device.



The display is 4.6 inch HD Reality Mobile BRAVIA Engine technology, 720p resolution (720 x 1280), and offering high-quality images: mainly affects the ability to reproduce vivid colors and rich, with viewing angles and brightness worthy of note. Among other interesting features of the Sony Xperia ion we find the 12 megapixel camera with auto-focus and Exmor R sensor, front VGA camera, video recording in 1080p, 4G LTE connectivity and 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor.


This is an important feature: the Ion is the first Xperia smartphone with dual-core CPU, with responsive performance and operating system Android 2.3 Gingerbread, at least for the moment. First impressions seem all very positive. Do not just have to wait to see it more closely.
