Facebook touches the 300 million mobile users per month

mobile usersFacebook reaches 300 million shares of the spectacular monthly users of its mobile version. The website founded by Mark Zuckerberg is therefore confirmed as being one of the most visited in the world. This interesting analysis was conducted by Benedict Evans on behalf of Enders Analysis, and will be published on the web site of research starting next year.

The analysis shows how in December 2011, Facebook Mobile has passed, as we said, the share of 300 million unique users. Just under two-thirds coming, needless to say, the iPhone and Android phones. Apple’s smartphones and “powered by Google” are actually the best selling in the market, so this is something that gives us more confirmation that surprised.

Following in this particular ranking are the RIM Blackberry, the iPad, Symbian and Windows smartphones at the end. Be noted that if in 2011 the share of Windows phones is rather insignificant, next year this may change as the Nokia will propose to the general public with its mobile operating system from Microsoft, the idea of permanently abandoning Symbian, which is not has never been a great success.

If you compare the number of total users that Facebook has, we see 70% of them visit the website “computer”, while a full 30% of the mobile version, also thanks to the free app you can download and install on smartphone and make it much easier and faster access Facebook from your phone.

But as has been influenced by the increase in visitors this Christmas? Certainly the boom in sales of the iPhone and Android phones, made and registered on 24 December 25 (which we have discussed in this article), has greatly contributed to this increase. There is, Facebook closes in 2011 with a flourish.
