Sony Ericsson Windows Phone: a prototype is in the light

Sony Ericsson Windows PhoneGoing back in time with the memory, precisely in June 2012 2010, may remember that Sony Ericsson claimed to be working on a model of smartphone operating system Windows Phone and physical side-sliding QWERTY keyboard. The code name of the phone seemed to be “Julie” and seemed to boast a 4-inch display and a 1GHz single-core processor. We have more news until March 2011, when they are leaked images showing (or so they believed) the mysterious device. Apparently nothing has happened since then, except that now, 18 months later, new pictures emerge of what may be another prototype Windows Phone.

Two new photos of a Sony Ericsson phone with Microsoft’s mobile operating system have been spread by NokiaWP.net. The thickness of the phone and the horizontal line that bisects the device suggests that it is the model with side-sliding QWERTY keyboard. Sony Ericsson said it would not have developed any phone with Windows Phone operating system after deciding to bind to Android, so it is possible that this is only for new images of the forgotten “Julie”.

But if we listen to NokiaWP.net, the phone displays photos in Windows Phone running 7.5, which would indicate that the unit has recently been updated, perhaps in view of the upcoming MWC in Barcelona. The second image you find after the jump.
