We started hearing about the Sony Ericsson Kumquats only recently, when the name appeared on a list of smartphones in an alleged Sony‘s roadmap. Fortunately, the name should change to the phone when it finally gets under way towards the market.
The portion of the smartphone comes with a code name that will then be changed, but in this particular case, you can breathe a sigh of relief: Kumquat is not practical to remember a name. The phone, a high-end Android will be officially launched when Sony will eliminate the brand “Ericsson” and will be called, finally, Sony Xperia U.
The phone has a 3.5 inch display with 480 × 854 pixels, a processor of “band average” 1GHz dual-core and a 5 megapixel camera. The body of Xperia U seems slightly larger than of Xperia S.
