Apple may soon add the connection port Thunderbolt IOS next-generation devices, including iPad , iPhone and iPod Touch for almost a year is on the line MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini and iMac.
The interface Thunderbolt, also known by the codename Light Peak, was built by Intel for transferring data between multiple computers and devices: NAS, TV and other consumer electronics products. Thunderbolt combines two solutions, PCI Express and DisplayPort, a 10 Gbps bi-directional link to which can pass all kinds of data, from the videos in full HD high definition audio, all at once. The connector features a logo shaped like a lightning bolt and offers 10 watts of power for connected devices. This would lead to a speed 20 times higher than the current USB 2 ports and use Thunderbolt means faster reloads.
As this hypothesis is appealing, there is hard to imagine that iPad 3, scheduled for spring 2012, will have such a connection, but for iPhone 5 , which will be released in the fall of 2012, a door Thunderbolt would be a nice surprise, but unlikely.
The problem is that Apple is trying to patent a series of devices with this technology and has already asked the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S.
We look forward to this new mobile device on the door with trepidation, given that Intel expects that all new PCs are equipped chipset of the future of the Thunderbolt.
