Here comes the update to ICS for Galaxy S II in the UK

nexusprimeFrom the day today, the owners of Galaxy S II in English soil can update your device to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The news is given by the account is the official Twitter of Samsung, both from GigaOm. Despite the delay in the update, Samsung has decided to get busy and after Vodafone UK has provided the update, to the delight of users.

The update is already available via Kies and not only for the device brand, will have to wait for branded ones. As already done by Vodafone UK, the update OTA (Over the Air) will be available in the coming days, after a test phase. No news as regards the firmware, at first glance appears to be equal to the version distributed earlier this year in some European countries.

We should still wait us Italian users, as already said no delays to see Android 4.0 on our Galaxy S II in May we will have to wait. The users would like to thank the British, while we are still here waiting. What do you think the excessive delay of the release of this update in Italy?
