RIM has announced that its instant messaging service, the popular BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), now has the ability to be integrated with Facebook and Twitter. Now users can share with their contacts in the network RIM BlackBerry, their latest tweet or update on the bulletin board of Facebook.
The update will be done automatically these days and will be reported in the BBM. This innovation is part of a series of update occurred thanks to the opening of the development modules of BBM. Alec Saunders, Vice President of the Developer Relations at RIM said:
“Since we have provided the means for developers to build applications that integrate with BBM, we have seen over 800 new add-on service. This was followed by a huge spread to users and now one in five of the applications downloaded from BlackBerry App World are app BBM-connected”
The Twitter client by integrating with BBM is available at the following links; one for Facebook will be available in BlackBerry App World in the coming days.
