Passed Windows Phone Summit 2012 is already talking of future devices. In the first line with the new system, Microsoft’s HTC, who believes in this OS, perhaps because with Android its light has been unfairly overshadowed by the number of successes produced by Samsung?
To confirm the great interest of the house Taiwanese example in the words of Peter Chou, CEO of HTC:
HTC has committed more than ever to support Windows Phone. We are excited to bring to market new Windows Mobile Phone with 8 by the end of the year. With the introduction of Windows Phone in 2010, Microsoft has launched a new mobile ecosystem with a powerful user experience original and at the same time easy to use.
Apparently there are three terminals in the works for Windows Phone 8: will be called Rio, Accord, and Zenith. Here’s what we know about them:
Rio: entry level product family WP8, will be equipped with a 4-inch screen with WVGA resolution, 5MP camera with the possibility of video at 720p, 512 MB of RAM, up to 14.4 Mbps HSDPA and dual-core Snapdragon processor S4
Accord: designed as a model of medium-high, is equipped with a display Super LCD2 4.3-inch 720p resolution, 8MP camera with the possibility of 1080p video, HSDPA + up to 42 Mbps, support NFC, 1GB of RAM and processor Qualcomm dual-core (probably Snapdragon Plus s4).
Zenith: As expected, this will be the flagship product that will counter the Samsung Galaxy S III. It will be equipped with a 4.7 inch display Super LCD2 with 720p resolution, 8MP camera with the possibility of 1080p video, HSDPA + up to 42 Mbps; the processor is called a quad-core Qualcomm allegedly still unknown.
These three products are expected by the end of the year, and the Rio Accord for the month of October, the Zenith by Christmas. For now, though no official confirmation from HTC, so you have to take these dates only as a rumor.
